SmartDairy Activity Module
The SmartDairy Activity module provides the ability to:
- Select high activity cows
- Predict when cows are in heat based on high activity
- Utilize an ID system for additional management purposes
- Sort cows with high activity
- Alert employees of high activity cows
The SmartDairy Activity module uses state-of-the-art electronic motion sensing technology to monitor cow activity. BouMatic offers the HeatSeeker II activity system, using ISO RFID technology. The HeatSeeker II activity system requires only one tag to manage both activity and animal ID, making the SmartDairy Activity module very economical for dairy management.
Each system requires:
- SmartDairy Controller (1 per dairy)
- HeatSeeker II tags
- Walkthrough or floor antenna(s)
- Power supplies

SmartDairy Activity Module – Equipment
SmartDairy Controller
The SmartDairy Controller is the communication center between each cow's milk data and your management computer. It interacts with various SmartDairy modules including Milk Harvest, Sort, Activity and more. The SmartDairy Controller interprets and organizes milk harvest data and transfers it to your management computer, where the Milk Harvest Software delivers the critical reports, tables and information you need. The SmartDairy Controller will also interface with your herd management software.

HeatSeeker II System
The HeatSeeker™ II activity system uses state-of-the-art electronic motion sensing technology to monitor cow activity and is designed to operate in any harsh dairy environment. The HeatSeeker II activity system operates at the established ISO frequency, 134.2 KHz.

SmartDairy Reports deliver the information needed for accurate profit-driven decisions on dairy. This is the portal to essential management information and performance data on dairy.
Diagnostics
SmartDairy Diagnostic screens give users and technicians quick, easy access to data communication signals within your SmartDairy system. Continuous real-time evaluation of the efficiency and performance of the system puts the 'Smart' in SmartDairy. This information can be accessed at the management PC in the office, by the Dealer or by BouMatic Technical Service. Communication data from every event within every SmartDairy module is recorded and stored for evaluation and output in a variety of reports.

The following are PC requirements for running SmartDairy Sort software. The software allows users to configure the SmartDairy Controller and its interface to the Sort Hardware.
